We are excited to offer the opportunity for an inspirational and talented Brickwork Lecturer to join our client's Construction department. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Brickwork students across levels 1 - 2 and contributing to the continuous improvement within the department.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver teaching and learning to Brickwork students across levels 1 - 2.
  • Act as a personal tutor for Level 1 & 2 students, promoting attendance and engagement.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development, and review activities within the subject area.
  • Prepare lesson plans and Schemes of Work.
  • Act as a course leader and complete quality assurance processes.
  • Assess students' work and provide constructive feedback to support their progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A teaching qualification or experience in training (candidates willing to work towards a formal teaching qualification will be considered).
  • A Level 3 Trowel Occupations qualification.
  • Experience in delivering and assessing Brickwork, ideally within an FE environment.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with Quality assurance in provision.
  • Experience working with Brickwork and Groundwork apprentices is advantageous but not essential.
