Project Manager (12 months Maternity Cover)

Project Manager - Full Time - Salary £41,659 to 49,010 (experience dependent) - Hybrid Working.

About the role

As a Project Manager you will be joining a team responsible for supporting the business in managing change and delivering a broad portfolio of investment projects.

You will be involved in a wide variety of exciting projects, from developing and launching new products and services, to replacing the infrastructure that underpins some of our core data.

What we're looking for

If you are interested in joining a team that lies at the heart of what OS is about, we are looking for someone that can demonstrate skills and experience in

  • Delivering projects to agreed time, cost and quality
  • Managing software development projects preferably using Agile methodologies
  • Effectively managing key stakeholders at all levels
  • Project planning and budgeting skills
  • Leading a culture of effective risk and issue management across the project
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Careful management of forecasts and actuals for project costs & resources
  • Ensuring all project documentation is created and maintained in line with wider Portfolio governance and standards
  • Experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives
  • Practitioner level qualification in Project Management (eg: Prince2, APM PMQ)

Desirable

  • Experience working with Dynamics365 implementation
  • Experience in delivering customer engagement or experience projects e.g. website re-platforms

Location: We embrace a hybrid working model at OS and understand there is no one size fits all in relation to how we work. We have a fantastic HQ in Southampton, Hampshire where you will be required to spend 1 to 2 days a week with the remaining time being a personal choice as to whether you work from home, or spend more time at OSHQ.

Security: OS conducts DBS background checks for all joiners and some roles require additional security clearance, including to SC or DV level in some cases. We will tell candidates at the appropriate time during the recruitment process if further clearance will be required for this role.
