A global leader with nearly 3,000 employees across 16 countries, including over 800 employees in the UK. Their commitment to excellence drives their success, and we are looking for a dedicated Payroll Officer to join a dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's bi-monthly payrolls, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. You will independently handle the end-to-end payroll process while receiving guidance and training from the Payroll Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Oversee the accurate calculation and payment of company and statutory payments for our bi-monthly payrolls.
- Compliance: Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies and PAYE legislation.
- Data Accuracy: Monitor and manage the accuracy of time and attendance data, ensuring correct transfer to the HR system.
- Payments: Ensure timely and accurate payments to HMRC and third-party providers.
- Employee Queries: Address payroll-related queries from employees, providing resolutions within agreed timeframes.
- Support: Assist the Payroll Manager with producing P45s, P60s, P11Ds, and supporting payroll projects and testing.
- Pensions Administration: Manage the administration of the pension scheme, including processing monthly deductions and handling auto-enrolment services.
- Systems Management: Support SAP payroll changes and work with HRIS SuccessFactors to maintain data synchronization with SAP Payroll.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience: Proven experience managing monthly and hourly payrolls, preferably using SuccessFactors and SAP.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK tax rules and pensions obligations.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
- Certification: CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate or higher is preferred.
