Head of Events - Activewear Brand - London / Hybrid

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Events to lead our events strategy and execution, ensuring that our brand continues to inspire and engage our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Strategy and Planning

  • Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with the brand's marketing and business objectives.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of events, from conception to evaluation, including large-scale events with up to 1000 attendees.
  • Identify opportunities for brand exposure and engagement through various events, including product launches, pop-up gym sessions, fitness events, and community events.
  • Develop new event concepts and formats to keep the brand's events fresh and engaging for the target audience.

Event Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all brand events, ensuring they are executed flawlessly and within budget.
  • Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, staffing, and on-site coordination.
  • Ensure all events comply with legal requirements, health and safety regulations, and brand guidelines within the UK and International.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of event coordinators and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Working with 3rd party agencies from pitching to contract signing and delivery of agreed-upon items.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Track and report on event expenses, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.

Marketing and Communications

  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop promotional strategies and materials for events.
  • Ensure consistent and effective messaging across all event-related communications, including social media, email campaigns, and press releases.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, vendors, and community organizations.
  • Secure sponsorships and partnerships to enhance event offerings and increase brand visibility.

Post-Event Analysis

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and provide detailed reports on event outcomes, including attendance, engagement, and financial performance.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in event management, preferably within the fashion, sports, or activewear industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to travel to / attend Events (UK and International)
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and drive new ideas.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
