Role: Senior Investment Director

Comanos, part of the Cobalt Group, is working with a well-established assent manager who provides sustainable fund offerings and direct investments for investors. This prestigious and progressive client is looking for a Senior Investment Director to acquire, develop, manage and complete new projects within the UK and internationally across BESS, solar and Wind renewable assets.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Investment Execution: Identify and pursue new acquisition opportunities for the funds, overseeing transaction structuring, due diligence, and contract negotiations. Manage debt finance transactions and funding releases for projects.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate networks and relationships globally to source development opportunities. Manage third-party introducers and developers.
- Legal and Commercial Expertise: Ensure compliance and risk management throughout energy project acquisitions and disposals, from pre-construction to post-construction phases.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare detailed analyses and reports for the company and GRID Board. Act as the primary liaison for finance, compliance, and legal teams regarding tax, accounting, regulatory compliance, and transaction documentation.
- Marketing and Investor Relations: Support marketing efforts for investment products and participate in roadshows as needed.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Background in investment and fund management, specifically within Renewables, Energy Storage, and Energy Transition sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to generate returns.
- Experience in leading energy investments, asset sales, and asset development.
- Track record in deal execution, negotiation, and financial analysis. Personal Skills:
