Job Title: HGV Shunter (Nights)
Location: Robertsbridge
Pay: £47,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday (60 hrs per week)
We are seeking a skilled HGV Shunter (C+E) to cover a period of sickness. The role involves the safe and efficient movement and positioning of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) within a designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely move and position HGVs within the site.
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
- Complete safety assessments and inspections of vehicles.
- Couple and uncouple trailers as required.
- Liaise with warehouse and transport managers to ensure smooth operations.
- Efficiently shunt HGVs to facilitate loading, unloading, and parking operations.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- In date CPC / Tacho.
- Min 2 years' experience in a C+E vehicle.
- Professional attitude to work.
