We are proud to be partnering with a global supplier to the manufacturing industry, who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor on a 9-month FTC.
This will be a full-time position based in Stafford, with hybrid working (2 days home working) and a salary of £27,000 to £30,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both autonomously and part of a team and be passionate about working within HR.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Advising managers on ER issues, ensuring compliance with employment law
- Supporting with case management, including absence management and occupational health referrals
- Acting as a first line of contact for ER caseload and escalate to HR Manager where necessary
- Contributing to HR metric reporting and identifying trends
- Supporting with recruitment processes, assisting with Interviews, job adverts, taking interview notes
- Assisting with HR activities, including reward schemes and internal communications
- Proactively initiate and lead projects and understand how they can enhance employee satisfaction
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Providing quality advice on employee relations, i.e., absence management and disciplinary
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good communicator, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team
