This role is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Payroll Assistant to join our Not for profit and charities client in Buckingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations and providing excellent service to their employees.

Description

  • Manage and process the monthly payroll for all employees
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
  • Work closely with HR and Accounting departments
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
  • Assist in the development of overall payroll procedures
  • Provide support for payroll audits

Profile

A successful Payroll Assistant should have:

  • 2+ years experience in a payroll assistant role
  • Knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
