Key Responsibilities:

- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure the school adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, including safeguarding, health and safety, and SEN-related policies.
- Support for SEN Provision: Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to support the delivery of tailored educational plans for students, ensuring that the school's administrative processes align with individual student needs.
- Reception Duties: Manage the school reception area, greet visitors, and handle phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience in school administration, ideally within an SEN or educational setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A compassionate and understanding approach to working with students with special educational needs.
- Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and school management systems.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially in maintaining student records and financial documentation.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Desirable:
- Experience working with SEN students or within a Special Educational Needs environment.
