We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Account Manager to join our team based in our Widnes office.

This is an office-based role in a fast moving and dynamic environment. You will work with an agreed base of existing customers and proactively target new customers working in partnership with Sales & Product Management driving sales of products within the Solvents & Petchems portfolio, and ensuring we achieve our growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Delivering sustainable & ongoing growth
+ Working as 'one team' with the Sales & Commercial Departments and cross-functionally across the business to drive that growth
+ Becoming a trusted expert for customers on the Solvents & Petchems market in the UK and Ireland
+ Proactively managing your time to ensure dynamic customer coverage
+ Salesforce (CRM sales tool) updating and maintenance
+ Q (Pricing tool) updating and maintenance
+ Calling customers, negotiating and taking orders

We Are Looking For:

+ A passion for selling with some previous experience
+ Comfortable communication with customers on the phone / video calls
+ The ability to build strong relationships internally and with customers
+ Strong desire to learn to be a highly skilled salesperson
+ Able to work effectively within all levels of the organisation is essential
+ Flexible with a positive attitude towards teamwork
+ Organised and able to prioritise with effective time management skills
+ Proficient at handling multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy & attention to detail
+ Ideally, you will have experience of managing existing accounts and identifying and gaining new business
