Job Role: Draughtsperson (Tekla detailer) Location or Commutable from: Loughborough
Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 per annum DOE
The Company:
You will be joining a steel fabrication and processing specialist and will be responsible for producing general arrangement drawings and 3D models of architectural and structural steel components.
The Candidate:
- Fully competent in the use of either Tekla software packages
- Ideally with a minimum of 2 years within a similar role
- Capable of liaising both with internal and external customers
Draughtsperson Responsibilities:
- Using Tekla to model structures from engineer's designs and general arrangement drawings.
- Materials scheduling for procurement, including the preparation of prelim and bolt lists.
- Generating drawings and exporting to other formats.
- Creating CNC data for production.
- Appreciation of manufacturing methods and technologies.
- Appreciation of codes and standards used in steel engineering.
- Detailing both fabrication and prep drawings for the Projects and Contracts team.
