We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Resource Centre Support Assistant to join our client's educational team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting both students and staff in the effective use of our client's Learning Centres, enhancing study skills, and contributing to the development of e-learning strategies and resources.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist students with study skills and information retrieval to enhance their learning experience.
  • Develop and deliver sessions aimed at improving study skills among learners.
  • Actively promote the Learning Centre's services to staff and students, ensuring high engagement and utilisation.
  • Supervise the use of computers, assistive technologies, and other equipment within the Learning Centre.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage resources efficiently to support the educational process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A good standard of general education.
  • Qualified to minimum Level 2 in Maths & English or working towards it.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
