Senior Quantity Surveyor needed in Southwark, £27.22ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1285512
This role is business critical to the Traded Services department as it underpins all our delivery activities.
It will initially be working on the validation/build up of SORs for electrical and mechanical street works projects covering the public realm - ie street lighting, EV Charge Points, street furniture, etc and consolidating the relevant pricing into budgets, cash flow forecasts, and also completing cost value reconciliations.
The individual will need to be familiar with working with different rate books i.e NEC/SPONS/NATFED, etc and understand their inherent application weaknesses.
The role is initially stand alone liaising with Delivery Managers with differing levels of commerciality. At a later stage it is anticipated the role will have line management responsibility for a senior finance officer focussing on commercial activities
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
