Our client is offering an exciting opportunity to join their fast-growing international B2B conference and exhibition team. You'll be responsible for developing relationships with event partners, discussing the mutual benefits of being involved with the portfolio of events in Europe and North America.

  • £40,000 plus bonuses
  • 25 days holiday plus an extra 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year

Your job will be varied one and will involve;

  • Managing and developing relationships with event partners
  • Contacting associations in the relevant sector, discussing the benefits of events
  • Establishing a direct contact through research on email, phone and linkedIn
  • Liaising with local and national authorities confidently
  • Using all methods of communication to establish and maintain relationships
  • Maintaining existing contacts and establishing interest for future
  • Working within the marketing team and utilising skills
  • Promoting events around the world

The successful person will have;

  • Previous experience working in commercial B2B events or other relevant areas such as market research or media is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident and well-spoken telephone manner
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to identify new business opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to set and stick to deadlines
  • Excellent research skills and writing ability

What you can expect;

  • Based in Guildford
  • £40,000 plus bonuses
  • Monday - Friday - 9am-5.30pm
  • Occasionally working on different time zones, so candidates must be flexible around working hours
  • 25 days annual holiday plus an extra 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year
