About the Role:

A newly created Legal Counsel role operating in a lean team, working predominantly on risk advisory and industry-specific, sensitive commercial contracts matters, which include but are not limited to security, R&D, sales and technology agreements. On an ad hoc basis, various intellectual property, commercial property, competition and disputes work may also cross your desk. Reporting to Head of Legal, you will manage internal stakeholders at all levels as a trusted provider of sound advice.

About You:

You will be a UK / dual national with eligibility for security clearance. Please not that if this is not the case, your application will not be considered.

You will have UK-based commercial legal experience, either in a law firm or in-house, and as a guide, 2+ PQE. You will accustomed to negotiating and reviewing varied commercial agreements. The business is open to experience from different industries, but experiences in the defence, manufacturing, energy or other heavy industries will be particularly keenly considered. You will be able to go to the company's Hertfordshire offices 2-3 days per week in a hybrid working pattern.
