Senior Care Assistant
Main Purpose of Job Role:
- You will be expected under the direction and supervision of the Manager/Deputy Manager, to participate as a member of the caring team to ensure that service users receive the highest standard of care.
- You will be expected to manage the home in the absence of the Manager/Deputy Manager.
Responsibilities:
- To be able to assess the health of the service users and call for G.P visits, district nurse visits or emergency aid
- To cover any of the Manager's, Deputy Manager's duties as needed eg home assessments of service users.
- Covering duty rosters etc
- Ensure the service user's rooms are kept and tidy at all times
- Ensure that all service users' needs are met daily.
Skills/Qualifications
- 12 months previous senior care experience in a care home
- Qualified or working towards Level 3 Health and Social Care
