Senior Accountant - 6 month FTC - £80-90k
A newly-launched Hedge Fund is looking to bring on a senior contractor to assist while they are in process of establishing their controls and wider finance infrastructure. This is a very exciting time to join the business, and a chance to showcase your core finance expertise. While being new on the scene, this organisation is already hugely successful - already having ~£4bn AUM.
Reporting to a very knowledgeable Head of Finance, you will play a very hands-on role with the overall running of the day to day finance function.
Role:
- Assist with general BAU - end to end finance (financial and management reporting)
- Liaising with outsourced bookkeepers, reviewing their reports
- Assistance with implementing/establishing processes and controls
- Ad-hoc process improvement to ensure the robustness of the finance infrastructure
Your experience:
- 'A-Z' experience with the financials - from the transactional level, exposure to both the financial and management accounts
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Financial Services experience essential - Asset Management in particular is ideal
- Any experience with process improvement, or setting up of controls and processes within finance would prove beneficial
