Job Title: Payroll Manager, 9 - 12m FTC

Hertfordshire, Greater London. - Hybrid.

JGA are partnering exclusively with an established and highly successful retail brand, seeking a Payroll Manager on an FTC, to oversee their Payroll Operations Function.
The role will manage a payroll team and will require experience of running large payroll functions in excess of 5000 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the overall payroll operations of two internal payroll functions.
- Provide legislative and technical payroll advice.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments/deductions.
- Oversee statutory reporting and compliance.
- Reconcile and approve payments to HMRC.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Train and develop payroll team members.
Requirements:
- CIPP or equivalent Payroll Manager Qualification or relevant experience.
- Extensive payroll management experience within a high volume setting, of at least 5,000 employees.
- Large team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of payroll practices, HMRC issues, and year-end processes.
- Advanced Excel and reporting/analysis skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
