Description
- Provide strategic leadership in the finance department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Oversee and manage the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and policies.
- Develop and implement financial strategies in line with the organisation's objectives.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Collaborate with senior management to set financial goals and strategies.
- Review and analyse financial reports, identifying and addressing any issues.
- Represent the finance department in meetings with stakeholders and external bodies.
Profile
A successful Head of Finance should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the finance sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Outstanding analytical and strategic planning skills.
Job Offer
- An attractive salary of approximately £45,600 - £56,000 per annum (DPE)
- Hybrid working with two days a week on site on average.
