I am delighted to be partnered with an innovative & exciting biotechnology company based in Scotland's Central Belt who are looking for a production manager to join and lead their chemical production team.
The Role
The Production Manager is a vital role for this organisation and will be a key cog in ensuring the successful operation of the manufacturing plant, ensuring continuous production of green chemicals through safe and efficient processes.
This position involves the line management of a team of 10+ individuals and ensuring important manufacturing KPIs are met, alongside the management you will be responsible for overseeing the fermentation & distillation process, and ensuring these processes are in-line with SOPs & SEPA regulations.
The Right Candidate
- Rich demonstrable experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (Food, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals..etc.)
- Experience leading teams of technical & non-technical staff & driving performance
- Familiarity with environmental regulations (SEPA, REACH, etc.)
- Experience creating and implementing manufacturing SOPs
