SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH and Autism Specialist)
Salary: Between £90-£120 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term or permanent

Our dedicated team supports with staffing schools with support workers for children with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Role Overview: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Your role will involve:
- Providing one-to-one support for students with SEMH and/or Autism
- Assisting in classroom activities, differentiation, and behaviour management
- Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement individualized education plans
- Building strong relationships with students, promoting their well-being and progress
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 Months' experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in the UK
- Understanding of SEMH and Autism
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Commitment to long-term or permanent employment
