An opportunity has arisen for a proficient FP&A Analyst to join a large employer in the region, where they will play a pivotal role in supporting accounting and finance operations. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong financial background and a keen interest in commercial finance.

Description

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.

Profile

A successful FP&A Analyst should have:

  • ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualified.
  • Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
