The syndicate provide innovative liability products for UK and overseas companies across a broad range of different industry sectors and territories. Due to increased volumes of business, they have an opening for an Underwriting Assistant or Assistant Underwriter.
Overview
Candidates MUST be able to show knowledge, expertise and understanding of international liability insurance, whether from an insurer, broking or MGA background. Strong acandemic attainment is also required.
This is a development role and the nature and complexity of duties will expand and grow with you as you learn and gain new capabilities and knowledge.
You will support the underwriters and liaise closely with broker partners. So this role will suit someone with strong analytical and critical thinking skills together with confident communication and relationship building abilities.
