We are seeking a dedicated and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team in Andover. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive starting salary of £35,000 rising to £40,000 after a successful period.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily walk-around checks on the vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy.
- Securing loads properly to ensure safe transportation.
- Navigating efficiently to customer sites and making timely deliveries.
- Assisting customers with the offloading of goods, ensuring orders are complete and meeting customer satisfaction.
- Making collections from suppliers and ensuring goods are safely returned to the yard.
- Communicating regularly with the Manager throughout the day to provide updates and feedback.
- Addressing any customer, location, or order issues and providing detailed feedback.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and all collections are returned to the yard and booked in promptly by the Goods In team.
- Adhering to safe driving practices and following all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver.
- A valid 7.5 Tonne Driving License and CPC qualification.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Excellent navigational skills and a good knowledge of Andover and surrounding areas.
- Ability to assist with manual handling and offloading of goods.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with the Manager and customers.
