Robert Half are working in partnership with a reputable, continuously growing company in Chippenham to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity that will take full ownership of the accounts payable process for a particular business entity and liaise with numerous external and external stakeholders. The Accounts Payable Assistant role will be suitable for an experienced individual that is looking for a new challenge and is keen to add value, whilst being a part of a renowned company. The salary is between £24,000 - £27,000 plus excellent benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant role will consist of the following:
- Processing invoices; match, batch and code.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Procesing payments.
- Liaising with suppliers and dealing with queries.
- Maintaining supplier accounts and records.
- Supporting with adhoc duties.
Requirements
To be considered for the Accounts Payable Assistant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/attributes:
- Must have experience within an accounts payable/purchase ledger role.
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good team player.
- Highly organised.
- Adaptable.
