Job Purpose
- Oversee a diverse client portfolio, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
- Oversee the provision of corporate tax services, including tax planning and WIP management
- Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling queries quickly and effectively
- Assist junior team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training
- Support Partners and Directors by undertaking ad-hoc work where needed
- Interpret changes to taxation legislation and provide trusted advisory to clients and colleagues
- Champion your own professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities
- Support business development strategies, actively seeking out opportunities, and assisting with marketing initiatives

The Successful Applicant
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, or equivalent
- Qualified by extensive experience would also be considered
- A proven track record of managing a portfolio
- Excellent understanding of annual corporation tax reporting requirements
- A broad knowledge across taxation
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong mentorship and leadership skills to aid the development of junior staff
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good time management skills in order to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, highly organised and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- A team player able to work closely with senior team members
- A can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn from an experienced team
