Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? Do you have the drive to empower and support the next generation? If so, our client has an exciting opportunity for you to join as a Youth Development Worker.

As a Youth Development Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing support and guidance to young individuals, helping them navigate the challenges they face and develop essential life skills.

This temporary role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people, while working within a supportive and inclusive team environment within the organisation.

  • Empower and support young individuals to achieve their full potential
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive youth development programs
  • Collaborate with community partners to create impactful initiatives

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven experience in youth work or similar community-focused roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with young people from diverse backgrounds
  • Passion for creating positive outcomes for young individuals
  • Ability to adapt and be resourceful in a dynamic youth development environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in youth work, social work, or a related field
  • Additional training in youth mental health and well-being
  • Valid driver's license and access to own transport (desirable)
