We are on the lookout for an experienced Finance Manager to join our fantastic client based in Northampton. In this key role, you'll work closely with leadership to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of your teams.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborating with stakeholders - you'll ensure a smooth and effective running of the department.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process and deliver comprehensive financial reporting.
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports, statements, and budgets.
- Developing and overseeing the annual budget and managing financial and operational risks
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and audit preparation.
- Supporting and advising the business as a Finance Business Partner
- Coach, lead and develop team members
- Drive cash flow and treasury management strategies to optimize financial resources.
- Identify process improvements and design and implement
solutions.
What we're looking for:
- You'll have extensive accounts experience with great knowledge of accounting procedures and working within a quality framework.
- You'll need to be ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- A natural team player with a passion for developing, coaching and leading finance teams with experience of delivering effective formal performance reviews.
- High levels of communication skills, adapting style and content to your audience.
- Outstanding organisation with an ability to manage multiple projects and relationships.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- A desire to work with a small yet mighty business who are focussed on continuous improvement and customer experience.
- You'll be a driver and live within a commutable distance (ideally within 30 minutes) of Northampton.
