I am delighted to be working with a rapidly growing PE backed business based near Northallerton.
They are seeking a Management Accountant who will play a pivotal role in delivering timely and accurate financial information to drive the business forward.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be instrumental in developing internal reporting frameworks, enhancing working methods, and supporting wider business projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for review
- Provide and confirm monthly intercompany balances for confirmation with other intercompany partners
- Prepare monthly journal entries including accruals and prepayments.
- Review of P&L to ensure compliance with group finance policy including variance commentary
- Review of balance sheets to ensure compliance with group finance policies, including regular review of key balance sheet reconciliations as set out by Group finance
- Undertake VAT returns and provide monthly intercompany balances, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines.
- Own the fixed assets register and review P&L and balance sheets to ensure compliance with group finance policies.
- Collaborate with the administrative and support team to ensure finance tasks are optimised while meeting monthly deadlines.
- Work with the Finance Controller to design and implement controls and systems to align with Group requirements.
You Will Be/Have
- Part Qualified/Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA OR QBE, with a passion for driving financial excellence.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Excel.
- Good analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
