**Community Psychiatric Nurse – West Midlands – Ongoing Opportunity

**Position Details:
- Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Early Intervention
- Band: 6
- Location: Birmingham
- Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, daytime shifts
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of Pay: £26 per hour
**Role Overview:
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse specialising in early intervention, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients within their own homes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting home visits to ensure patients' needs are met and they are progressing well.
- Administering medication and managing treatment schedules.
- Engaging with patients to understand their conditions and provide tailored support, monitoring their progress, and addressing any setbacks.
- Performing risk assessments to ensure the safety of patients and those around them, maintaining a secure environment during treatment.
**Qualifications and Requirements:
- NMC Registration: Must be actively registered as a mental health nurse.
- Community Experience: Proven experience in a community setting is essential.
- Caseload Management: Experience in holding and managing a caseload is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team when necessary.
- Commitment: A dedicated approach to providing the highest quality of care for patients.
