Finance Operations Manager

Edward Mann are recruiting on behalf of a leading Management Consultancy based in Central London. Our client is looking for a candidate who can manage a small team (2-3 people) - somebody who has previous experience in managing financial operations such as Travel & Expenses, Corporate Card, S2P/P2P, etc.

This position will be responsible for leading a small team responsible for Source-to-Pay, Purchase-to-pay, Expenses and Accounts Payable. The remit will cover 3 European entities, including UK (with the requirement for very occasional travel to European offices)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage a small team responsible for Payments, S2P, Corporate Card, Expenses.
  • Liaise closely with the shared service accounts payable and record-to-report teams.
  • Carry out regular transactions and reporting, ensuring compliance with group policies.
  • Manage the reconciliation process.
  • Provide analytics that aid insightful reports to the senior management team.
  • Weekly payment run reviews.
  • Consistently look to drive efficiencies and aid in ongoing process/system improvements across the team/group.
  • Provide training on expenses policy and process for group employees.
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting.
  • Manage the credit card group programme, corporate travel accounts, etc.
  • Effectively manage risk and controls in all financial operations within the Expenses and S2P remit.

CANDIDATE SPEC:

  • People management experience.
  • Extensive experience in the management of AP, Expenses and S2P/P2P processes.
  • A working knowledge and understanding of general accounting processes, month-end reporting, etc.
