My client are a well established Construction and Civil Engineering contractor delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects throughout the UK. The Company are seeking a skilled Site Engineer/Sub-Agent to join a dynamic team for an 12-18-month infrastructure project in York. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and controlling the muck-shift and earthworks operations, ensuring accurate monitoring of levels and quantities throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage groundwork, muck-shift and earthworks activities on site.
- Monitor and control site levels, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Accurately measure and record quantities of materials moved.
- Present detailed actuals and progress reports to the client.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Implement and uphold health and safety standards on site.
- deal with early warning and NEC Notifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Sub-Agent / Engineer from Civil Engineering Background.
- Strong knowledge of construction and civil engineering practices.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (degree or equivalent) preferred.
- CSCS card and other relevant certifications.
