Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer who proudly supports jewellers across the country. Based in Birmingham, they are a friendly, well-established but growing business.

They are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor who has a passion for health and safety. As a leading precious metal manufacturer, they are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for employees and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. As the on-site health and safety expert, you will be driving health and safety initiatives across their main site in Birmingham and their trade counter in London. You will be working closely with the management team to promote the development of a positive health and safety culture and best practice. Identifying and resolving Health and Safety issues, carrying out audits and inspections and investigating any incidents that occur as well as promoting a positive H&S culture throughout the business.

To succeed in the role, you will need a qualification in health & Safety management i.e. NEBOSH, proven experience in a similar role and an in-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulation and compliance.

This is an on-site role, with a working week of 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday. Hours can be flexible but will need to suit business requirements. There may be a requirement to work the occasional weekend as well as travel to visit colleagues based in London.

The successful candidate will need to complete, at the company expense, a basic DBS check for this role.
