Business Development Manager

£45,000 + Car + Bonus

Manchester Based Office

Are you looking to work for a market leading business? A company that has established itself across the frozen, fresh and snacking channels who are looking to further develop their End user/QSR portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving growth across Foodservice, HORECA and QSR end users – seeking new business and accounts that align with the brand.
  • Creating and implementing an effective sales strategy for your customers, owning the P&L and identifying areas of opportunity for growth
  • Developing strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring output is geared towards achieving key business objectives
  • Accountability for profit and loss for your specific business portfolio.
  • Working closely with product management, marketing and NPD teams delivering compelling customer specific propositions on product development.

Key attributes:

  • Experience and knowledge within the Food industry
  • Knowledge of the foodservice channel – specifically end users and HORECA accounts
  • Comfortable with presenting to national accounts and managing relationships
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Numbers driven, goal orientated, and sales motivated
  • Highly organised and time efficient

The ideal candidate will have growth experience, increasing exposure / listings within current customers whilst driving new client acquisition within Foodservice, HORECA and QSR channels.
