A new opportunity is available for a Bookkeeper to join a successful Accountancy Practice on a full time basis. This is a role based in central Middlesbrough.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant office and team and will closely with the Accountant to ensure an excellent service is delivered to range of the practices clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts
- Accurately storing and recording of data
- Producing financial statements - income and expenditure
- Paying invoices
- Tracking account balances
- VAT returns
- Reconciling accounts and making the Accountant aware of discrepancies when required
- Cash flow, profit and loss and balancesheet
- Employee wages
- Expense claims
- Assisting with year end as when the Accountant requires
