Examinations Manager

We are seeking an Examinations Manager to join one of London's top performing Colleges. This position is a permanent role and will be responsible for the management of the Examinations department across all College centres.

Job Title: Examinations Manager

Annual salary: £44,696 - £48,933

Contract type: Full-time, permanent

Location: Uxbridge (but willingness to travel to other sites when required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to departmental strategy, aligning with college objectives, and deliver a team plan accordingly
  • Manage the Examinations team to ensure efficient and effective examination administration and student achievement reporting
  • Implement college-wide policies on recording examinations in the MIS package
  • Define, update, and implement business processes within key areas of responsibility, including data input protocols and validation exercises
  • Maintain and analyse retention and achievement data, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and prepare for funding returns
  • Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders, ensure compliance with audit regulations and GDPR, and stay updated on IT developments to propose system improvements

Requirements:

  • Experience working in Higher Education or Further Education in an Examinations capacity
  • Significant experience of working with a large information database and reporting using MS Excel
  • Team leadership/supervisory experience
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, and ability to prioritise a busy workload effectively and meet deadlines
