Purpose of Role
We are seeking a talented Liability Underwriter to join our clients dynamic team. As a Liability Underwriter, you will play a critical role in assessing and evaluating insurance risks from both UK and Multinational clients and determining appropriate coverage options.
Responsibilities
- Assessing risk and determining the terms and conditions of liability insurance policies.
- Analysing and evaluating the potential liability exposure of individuals and businesses.
- Collaborating with other departments/offices to ensure underwriting guidelines and regulations are met.
- Reviewing policy documents and communicating underwriting decisions to stakeholders.
- Monitoring industry trends, legal developments, and emerging risks to inform underwriting decisions.
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal teams.
Experience
- Experience in underwriting, especially in liability underwriting.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skilled in establishing and nurturing relationships both internally and externally.
- Proactive and capable of managing your own workload efficiently to meet service standards.
- Focused on meeting tight deadlines, even under pressure.
