You'll be tasked with finding new business and developing this business' Public Sector customer base from scratch.

But this role is about way more than just immediate sales impact.

Your General Manager, Kevin, wants you to transition into a senior position in the next 2 years.

What You'll Be Doing

You will be selling a strong portfolio of Hygiene, Janitorial and Catering supplies to Public Sector customers predominantly within the M25 area, but surrounding areas in the South East aren't off limits.

This business sees immense opportunity with the Public Sector; and this is why 90% of your time will be focused on developing new business in the region.

The remaining 10% of your time will be spent on managing and growing the accounts of existing customers that you will be inheriting.

You'll be working remotely, with 4 days per week of customer travel within and visiting the office based in Swanley once every 2 weeks!

Where You'll Be Doing It

This company is a £7m wholesaler who supply a wide range of hygiene, janitorial and catering supplies products.

With roots going back to the 1960s, service is at the core of their culture. They pride themselves on reactive customer service and quick next-day deliveries.

Though medium sized, their 28 employees punch above their weight. They have strong relationships with major hospitality customers throughout London. They also serve resellers, facilities management firms, schools, and other customer types too.

Despite their growth, they retain a family feel as a family-owned business. They aim to balance that culture and their close customer relationships with their ambitious vision to aggressively grow the business to £10m turnover in the next 3 years.

What Skills You Need

You will have previous sales experience with Cleaning/Janitorial products; alongside having a proven track record of winning new business with the Public sector in the past.

Aside from this, you are just required to be located within the inside of the M25.
