Think Accountancy and Finance are supporting a local Hemel Hempstead business in ourcing some temporry cover in their Sales Ledger area of the business during a busy period. This role requires strong level of Excel with a minimum of look ups and pivot tables experience. The successful candidate will have proven experience within a sales ledger or accounts recieveable position.
The client requires someone to start quickly and be able to focus on the daily posting of cash receipts, responding to any accounts receivable queries, processing refunds and raising invoices/proforma invoices.
There is a potential of a permanent opportunity for the right candidate but this is not a guarantee.

Key role responsibilities include:
- Daily posting and allocations of cash receipts using Excel
- Responding to all accounts receivable queries
- Processing refunds
- Raising invoices
- Taking credit card payments
- Credit Checks
- Setting up new customers on Sage
The role requires excellent communications skills and strong attention to detail. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Excel expert to couple their Sales Ledger experience in one role. Working in an SME allows the successful candidate to be part of a close knit team with direct hands on support.
It is essential that you have good working knowledge of Excel as well as recent practical sales ledger/accounts receivable experience.
