Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine histopathology laboratory tasks, focusing on the microtomy sectioning of various tissue types (standard, mega, singles, levels, and cores).
- Conduct routine H&E staining utilizing the Leica Spectra system.
- Ensure high standards of quality control and adherence to laboratory protocols.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely delivery of results.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Histology/Cellular Pathology.
- Proven experience in histopathology techniques, particularly microtomy and H&E staining.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
