Join our client as a Service Manager and embark on an exciting journey where you'll play a vital role in providing essential support and resources to these communities. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £23002.40 and the opportunity to make a real impact.
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver high-quality services to travelling communities across various locations.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to address the unique challenges faced by travelling communities, fostering empowerment and inclusion.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for the needs of travelling communities and drive positive change.
Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting vulnerable or marginalised populations, with a focus on respect and cultural understanding.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering community-based programmes or initiatives, ideally within the travelling community sector.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities.
- Passion for social justice and a commitment to advocating for the rights and needs of marginalized communities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in community engagement, project management, or related areas would be advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations as required.
