Join our client as a Service Manager and embark on an exciting journey where you'll play a vital role in providing essential support and resources to these communities. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £23002.40 and the opportunity to make a real impact.

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver high-quality services to travelling communities across various locations.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to address the unique challenges faced by travelling communities, fostering empowerment and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for the needs of travelling communities and drive positive change.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting vulnerable or marginalised populations, with a focus on respect and cultural understanding.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering community-based programmes or initiatives, ideally within the travelling community sector.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities.
  • Passion for social justice and a commitment to advocating for the rights and needs of marginalized communities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in community engagement, project management, or related areas would be advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations as required.
