Project Manager

Do you have demonstrable experience in delivering and managing £1m+ complex exhibitions within the tradeshow/exhibitions sector? Do you have at least 5 years' experience as a Project Manager?

Join a leading international marketing and communications agency as a Project Manager. This is a pivotal role within a dynamic company known for pushing the limits of design and delivering exceptional business results. The successful candidate will be part of a forward-thinking team, with the opportunity to work on large-scale, complex exhibitions. This is a hybrid position, offering up to 2 days working from home after the probationary period.

Main duties:

  • Deliver, oversee, manage and coordinate all aspects of large-scale projects from inception to completion.
  • Sourcing, negotiating and managing stand build, venue services, rigging, lighting, audio visual, furniture, catering, graphics, etc.
  • Produce estimates, negotiate and refine budgets for/with contactors.
  • Provide site management support and lead a team, handle commercial management, and ensure quality control.
  • Manage budgets, client accounts and timelines effectively.
  • Communicate with clients, team members, and all stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • National and international travel will be a key aspect of the role.

Key requirements:

  • 5 years' demonstrable 'fit out' experience in delivering £1m+ complex and large-scale projects (incl. exhibitions and trade shows) from brief to execution.
  • Flexibility for remote working, with a requirement to be office-based in West London for a minimum of three days a week.
  • Flexibility for overseas travel.
  • Comprehensive understanding of global trade show sector elements such as stand build, venue services, rigging, lighting, audio-visual, furniture, catering, and graphics.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and budgeting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field (ideal, but not essential).
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM) (ideal, but not essential)).

Salary & package:

  • Salary between £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.
  • 20 days + bank holidays, rising to 25 days with service.
