Rightnow Group are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver for a well established Engineering client based in Colnbrook.
The successful candidate must be able to provide a full 5 year reference history in addition to obtaining a clear DBS.
Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver
Location: Colnbrook
Hours: Monday - Friday (8am-4:30pm)
Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Responsibilities of a 7.5 Tonne Driver:
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle, ensuring the secure transportation of equipment.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure road worthiness and compliance with legal requirements.
- Accurately load and unload equipment meeting health and safety regulations
- Collect and return equipment to and from Colnbrook depot to Heathrow Airport terminal
- Maintain accurate records of collections and returns
- Liaise with the airport equipment team to ensure an overall smooth process
- Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
Experience Required for a 7.5 Tonne Driver:
- Valid 7.5 tonne license
- Ideally holds a HIAB licence
- Full CPC qualification
- Previous experience as a 7.5 tonne driver, preferably with a good geographical understanding of Heathrow airport
- Ability to work independently, managing time effectively to meet schedules
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full 5-year referenceable history and ability to obtain a clear DBS
