Assistant Accountant Role -
NC Associates are working with a forward thinking and market leading service sector organisation based near Bolton to assist in recruiting a Part-qualified Assistant Accountant. My client is looking for a confident and ambitious Assistant Accountant who can help support the management team in preparing timely management accounts for various entities within the business. As an Assistant Accountant you will have lots of progression and support to help build on your existing experience.
Job Accountabilities
- Support the Management Accountants to assess each balance sheet
- Implement a standard process for balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in conducting reviews of balance sheets ahead of group reporting/statutory audits
- Assist with regulatory reporting
- Prepare supporting statutory accounts documents
- Communication with auditors around year end statutory and group reporting
- Work with Financial Controller to support in all areas of the team
To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following -
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified
- Previous experience of working in a large energetic team
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products essential.
- Good knowledge of balance sheet areas, accruals and pre-payments
- Excellent communication skillset
Desirable
- Month end reporting and balance sheet reconciliation experience
- A proven track record in working towards continuous improvement.
