A successful business is currently on the lookout for an experienced Application Lead (C#, .Net, AWS) to come in and join their well-established yet growing team working on their SaaS platform which is used globally. This role is perfect for an experienced Lead Software Engineer / Senior Developer looking to join a highly successful company with plenty of initiatives and exciting enterprise projects.
The Role
As an Application Lead (C#, .Net, AWS) you will be focusing on the day to day detail and will continue to focus on management, improvements and scalability of their application as the business grows. The role is 75% hands on in terms of development and 25% of your time will be spent mentoring / upskilling the team including code reviews, ensuring the application team are aligned with delivering against the roadmap and helping drive forward the technical direction including recommending improvements to Developer tooling.
As well as new projects, they are currently maintaining and enhancing their existing portfolio of software applications ensuring a high-quality experience to their thousands of users. Their platform is developed in C# .Net and built in AWS. Working with the latest technologies on large, essential projects, this role is for a technically capable, driven and ambitious Senior/Lead Software Developer.
Application Lead role requirements:
- Experience as Senior or Lead Developer
- Experience developing web and enterprise applications in C#, .Net
- SQL Server (ideally Entity Framework or Dapper)
- AWS services
- Microservices
Any experience in the following will be highly beneficial:
- React
- Experience working within financial services
- Kubernetes, Docker
