We are engaged with a growing technology services business who are looking to secure a high potential Management Accountant as they continue to grow towards transaction or external investment in the future.
This is a really broad role and will report to a highly knowledgeable Financial Controller. With revenues growing steadily over the last 3 years and ambitious growth targets there is a real opportunity to gain a wide set of skills and experience in this role.
The Role
The successful Management Accountant will manage the following:
- Production of management accounts including all necessary journals and core variance analysis
- Manage bookkeeping to trial balance, owning accurate & timely data, ready to month-end timetable
- Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
- Support preparation of VAT returns
- Manage the Fixed asset register and Fixed Asset schedules
- Ensure all accounting processes are approved based on policies
- Own loan accounting computations & bank transactions
- Oversee billing postings to ensure robust revenue recognition
- Provide ad hoc cover for AP, AR and billing
- Assist Financial Controller in audit and year end process.
Your Profile
We are looking for an ACCA/CIMA/ACA studier (ideally at least part qualified) who is looking to take the next step in their career
Someone with a minimum of 2 years prior experience in a management/financial accounting focused role would be ideally suited to this opportunity.
We need someone ambitious who is hungry to learn, develop and gain exposure to new tasks and challenges.
Salary & Benefits
£45,000 - £50,000 bonus and benefits. This role is 3 days in office in Kingston with access to public transport links and parking.
