The Firm
A leading European Intellectual Property firm are seeking IP Paralegals to join their highly successful team in their City of London office.
The Opportunity
The successful Paralegals will work within an extremely busy team, processing Patent and Trade Mark formalities. You must be a highly motivated, organised, and efficient Paralegal to be successful in this role! Duties to include:
- Handling design and Trade Mark applications (filings, completion reminders, processing official communications, publications, fee payments, grants and certified copies)
- Handling incoming correspondence including hard-copy mail and electronic correspondence
- Reviewing and identifying due dates from incoming correspondence and diarising dates
- Reviewing outgoing correspondence and updating the firm's IP management system
- Entering and Creating new case records details onto the IP management system
- Generating and sending out all standard correspondence
- Updating the IP management system with filing details
- Monitoring the daily critical due date list to ensure that Fee Earners are aware of all due dates
These Paralegal opportunities are full time, permanent roles, working Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week
The Requirements
- Knowledge of Inprotech (desirable)
- At least 2 years working within a Records or IP department
- Strong knowledge of EP and UK Patent and Trade Mark processes (essential)
- CIPA Patent Paralegal qualification (desirable)
- CITMA Trade Mark Administrators qualification (desirable)
