Warehouse Operative
CantelloTayler Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join their client who is based in Finchampstead, Berkshire. Due to the location the ideal candidate MUST be a driver.
Warehouse Operative duties include:
- Assisting with the daily picking of orders, labelling, packing and then dispatching to the customer
- Assisting the Van driver with the loading and unloading of our vehicle as and when required.
- Assisting with the unloading of Sea container shipments, storing items correctly in the warehouse whilst observing good stock management.
- Assisting with Stock takes as and when required.
- Maintaining good stock rotation of products as they arrive from containers to the warehouse, quality control checks of both date and durability.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment throughout the day.
- Reporting any damages of products or equipment as they happen to Management.
- Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in the daily breakdown of orders and general tasks.
Warehouse Operative required skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous Warehouse/stock room experience - desirable
- Experience of building pallets - desirable
- Excellent time keeping skills
- Organised
- Loyal
- Professional
