The Burford Recruitment Company are working with a leading Financial Planning / Wealth Management business to find a Paraplanner to join their team. The successful Paraplanner will work alongside the Financial Planners to deliver a highly personalised financial planning service to clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the administrative support team, ensuring the highest levels of client service are delivered at all times.
- Developing relationships with clients and acting as first port of call for client queries.
- Liaising with product providers and other third parties.
- Preparing and attending client meetings alongside Financial Planners.
- Analysing and maintaining portfolios.
- Undertaking research, compiling financial planning recommendations and implementing chosen solutions.
- Analysing client data and preparing cash flow analyses (using Voyant)
- Ensuring all regulatory and compliance standards are met.
- Contributing to continuous improvement, and the ongoing development of best practices within the business.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Have experience in paraplanning, or within a similar role.
- Hold a (Dip PFS) Diploma in Financial Planning (preferred)
- Have knowledge and experience of financial planning for HNW and UHNW clients - including investment portfolio management, pensions, taxation, protection, and estate planning.
- Be personable, with strong relationship-building, and communication skills
- Be a collaborative team player with a caring and quality-focused, customer-centric approach.
