Maths Teacher (Functional Skills)

- Hours: 10 hours per week (Mondays and Tuesdays)
- Duration: At least until October half term, potentially until Christmas
We are currently seeking a Maths Teacher to deliver Functional Skills to students aged 16 and above. This part-time role is crucial for supporting our learners in achieving their educational goals. The position requires commitment on Mondays and Tuesdays with no flexibility on these days.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Functional Skills Maths lessons to students aged 16+.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet learning objectives.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
- Maintain records of students' attendance, assessments, and progress.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in delivering Functional Skills Maths.
- Ability to commit to working hours on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Willingness to travel to our location.
- Ideally already possess an enhanced DBS; immediate availability to start as early as next Monday/Tuesday.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
